It can be seen that proper low-salt treatment has little effect on the high growth of Thespesia populnea seedlings, and has a certain promotion effect on ground diameter and leaf growth, but high salinity has a great adverse effect on its seedling height and leaf growth, especially when When the salinity was 15‰ and 18‰, the leaves even fell off.

The average dry mass and total biomass of roots, stems and leaves of Thespesia populnea were higher when the salinity was 3‰, and the values ​​decreased significantly when the salinity was 6‰. It shows that Thespesia populnea has a certain salt tolerance, but its growth is obviously inhibited with the increase of salinity (≥6‰). Therefore, Thespesia populnea can grow normally in soils with salinity ≤3‰, and salinity ≥6‰ will be unfavorable for growth.
