Platanus acerifolia. Distributed in Southeast Europe, India and America, there are 3 species that have been introduced and cultivated in China for ornamental use and as a street tree. Platanus acerifolia is a majestic tree with dense branches and leaves. It is a world-famous fine shade tree and street tree, and is known as the "king of street trees".
Platanus acerifolia, in plant taxonomy, Platanus acerifolia belongs to the phylum Angiosperms, the class of Dicotyledonous plants, the class of Rosaceae, the order of Sagittarius, the family of Platanus acerifolia, and the genus of Platanus acerifolia.
